Queen of the Pigs?

Last month, on August 2, President Donald Trump again claimed to win his umpteenth “club championship” at his Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey by shooting a 2-under par 70 in a single round. (Apparently, for the umpteenth time, the “club championship” at one of his clubs was held without any rules officials in the vicinity).

Actually, this makes at least 40 “club championships” that Trump has claimed to win. At least a couple he has managed to win without even attending.

In announcing his latest win on social media, he failed to mention that his victory was in the “senior” and “super senior” divisions, not the overall club championship. But in boasting about his own “talent,” he did manage to disparage the tournament’s other competitors, noting that “It is called TALENT, and I have it, and they don’t.”

So, apparently President Trump is once again “champion” of a club full of talentless golfers.

Isn’t that a little like declaring yourself “Queen of the Pigs?”
