President Donald Trump’s performative, but completely meaningless, renaming of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America has been well publicized. But let’s not let the nonsense stop there. Trump should rename all U.S. locations which stem from Mexico…or any other non-U.S. origination.
Our 47th state should be immediately changed from New Mexico to New America. The president’s former home state and city should be recast as New America, New America. The NFL’s New England Patriots will now become the New America Patriots.
America first, everywhere, and only!
And with President Trump’s latest executive order making English the official language of the United States, we have some other names to change. San Francisco is now St. Francis. Los Angeles renamed to The Angels. Maps need to change San Antonio to St. Tony. And the signs and letterhead at the President’s own residence – Mar-A-Lago – need to change to Sea-To-Lake.
Afterall, we speak English in America! Which makes you wonder why we don’t speak American.
